This week, our High School Volunteer of the Week is from Menlo Atherton High School, soccer player, Aaron Orofrom. In between his school work, soccer practice and games, Aaron finds the time to volunteer at Willow Elementary School. At Willow Elementary Aaron tutor’s in various classrooms and enjoys playing any sport with the children after school. Great Job Aaron!!!

Our Coach of the Week is from Cupertino High School. Varsity Boys Basketball Coach Craig Ellegood brought the Cupertino Pioneers within one game of being in first place in their league! Way to go Coach and Pioneers!

In case you haven't seen it yet this car is sure to get your pulse racing. From the all digital instrument panel to the touchpad in the center cluster, this car is packed with the coolest technology on the market. Everytime I see this car I fall more in love with it. Stand in line cause if this baby goes into production I will be the first one with a deposit!!!

Volunteering, Sports & High School

This week, our High School Volunteer of the Week is Beth Ritter from San Ramon Valley High School. Beth, recently sidelined with an injury while playing soccer continues to support her team mates by taking stat’s while still finding time to volunteer while she recovers. She reads to young children and assists in the leadership with childrem and youth groups at Santa Cruz Hope Church. Great job Beth!!!

The Coach of the Week was Joe Mentilla of Abraham Lincoln High School. As the Lion’s Boys Basketball Coach, he coached his team to a big win over Andrew P. Hill Falcon’s taking over the first place standing in the West Valley Division! Way to go Coach Mentilla!

2012 Lexus models keep racking up the awards! The latest three come from Kelley Blue Book (KBB).

Many car buyers trust the name KBB as the authority on used car and trade-in values. The truth is, their numbers may represent an average for a particular vehicle, but once a year, KBB adds some perspective to its numbers by presenting the factors that contribute to them- so called Total Cost of Ownership data.

Here we have two LFAs sitting pretty on Forgestar F14 alloys:

These 20's have a polished lip, adding some contrast between the wheels' and paint's matching finish. The 22's on the red car are the same design, just finished in black.

Cheering and Winning - High School Style

This week, our High School Volunteer of the Week is Megan Sarmenta from California High School. Megan is a dedicated Grizzlies Dancer, supporting the teams throughout the year. In her spare time, she volunteers at Iron Horse Middle School as a teacher’s assistant. As the teacher’s assistant in a special needs classroom, she uses her friendly and positive attitude reading to the students and helping the teacher correcting papers. Megan is making a difference in this classroom!

The Coach of the Week was John Llamas of Willow Glen High. As the Soccer Coach for the Rams Boys Soccer, got two giant wins over league rivals, pushing them into first place in the Mt. Hamilton Division. The Rams are now 8-0-1 for the season! Congratulations Coach Llamas and the Willow Glen High School Boys Soccer Team! Keep up the great work!

Volunteering & Sports is a Team Effort

This week there are two outstanding and deserving team sport winners for the Volunteer and Coach of the Week. Jim Forthoffer the boys basketball coach at Mountain View High School and soccer player Matt Riggins from Miramonte High School.

Matt Riggins our Volunteer of the Week is involved with the California Explorer Search and Rescue Team. When Matt isn’t on the soccer field assisting the Maditor’s team and coach to win games, he volunteers with the Ground Pounders of the California Explorer Search and Rescue. You could say Matt uses his head and feet for more than his studies and love of soccer, as he uses both to help search for lost people in the wilderness in Northern California. Great job Matt!

Our Coach of the Week was awarded to Mountain View High School Boys Basketball Coach Jim Forthoffer. Coach Forthoffer and the Mountain View Spartans picked up 2 big wins in the De Ane Division last week to make them undefeated in the league with a 4-0, making the Coach and the Spartans in first place their league!
