    Performance

The base powertrain of the Lexus IS 300 consists of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel drivetrain which produces 241-hp and earns an estimated 30 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city. If you are looking for an all-wheel drivetrain, you can opt for the 260-hp 3.5-liter V6 mated to a six-speed auto. The Lexus IS 350 comes with a 311-hp 3.5-liter V6 with the option for either an eight-speed auto and rear-wheel drive, or a six-speed auto and all-wheel drive. An optional F Sport package can be combined with any engine and includes a sport-tuned suspension and larger 18-inch alloy wheels for improved handling.
