    Review: 2019 Lexus ES 300h

Visit Lexus Stevens Creek in the Santa Clara area to learn more about the new Lexus ES 300 hybrid model. This five-passenger hybrid luxury sedan is the most fuel-efficient non-plug-in luxury vehicle which delivers a first-class ride, ample legroom in both rows, and an impressive suite of safety features.

The Lexus ES 300 hybrid model is available in a 300h base model as well as the 300h Luxury and 300h Ultra Luxury trims which are powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine mated to an electronic continuously variable transmission paired with two electric motors. This Lexus hybrid model utilizes a front-wheel drivetrain and generates 175-hp with the engine alone and a total system of 215-hp, and earns an estimated fuel economy of 45 mpg highway and 43 mpg city. To make the drive more responsive or more efficient, the ES 300h comes standard with four separate driving modes including Normal, ECO, EV, and Sport mode which initiates six simulated gears that can be shifted manually with the paddle shifters.
