Lexus RC 350

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2017 Lexus RC a Top Safety Pick+ after it earned best possible scores in all crash tests, including small and moderate front overlap, side impact, rear crash, and roof strength.

Each model of the 2017 RC has SmartAccess with push-button Start/Stop, dual-zone climate control, NuLuxe interior trim, power-adjustable front seating, LED headlamps with dynamic auto leveling, LED daytime running lights, Lexus Enform Safety Connect and Remote App. For your entertainment and convenience, it also features standard Lexus Display Audio with color multimedia display, Scout GPS Link navigation, backup camera, 10-speaker premium sound system, subscription-free traffic and weather, Bluetooth technology, and Siri Eyes Free.

Available features include power moonroof, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intuitive Parking Assist, LED foglamps, premium triple-beam LED headlamps, Pre-Collision System with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Torsen Limited-Slip Rear Differential, and Lexus Dynamic Handling with Dynamic Rear Steering and Variable Gear-Ratio Steering.

BMW 440i

The 2017 4 Series has not been evaluated by any major safety organizations.

All 4 Series models feature power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and adaptive xenon headlights. Standard entertainment features include AM/FM/CD/HD Radio, USB input, Bluetooth technology, a 9-speaker audio system, and 6.5-inch display. It also features a standard moonroof, though a rearview camera will cost extra.

Premium features include a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, hands-free trunk, and leather seating. Other upgraded features are available only in groups, such as the Technology Package (navigation and apps) and Driver Assistance Package (blind spot monitor, lane departure alert, and collision-mitigation system).

Performance

Lexus RC 350

The 2017 RC 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. You can choose between rear-wheel drive with an 8-speed automatic transmission or all-wheel drive with a 6-speed automatic transmission. All models feature paddle shifters and Drive Mode Select for optimal use of power in any road condition.

BMW 440i

The 2017 440i has a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine that produces 320 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. All models have the option for all-wheel drive and standard 8-speed automatic transmission, with available 6-speed manual transmission.
