    Review: 2018 Lexus LX 570

    Review: 2018 Lexus LX 570

As the Lexus flagship SUV, the LX 570 never disappoints. Drivers who want a spacious, luxurious cabin and a capable body-on-frame chassis have a few options, but this is the best one.

We invite you to take the 2018 Lexus LX 570 for a test drive so you can see for yourself why it’s a best seller in Los Angeles. For more details on California’s favorite luxury SUV, read our full review:

    Performance

One of the greatest advantages the LX 570 has on the competition is its combination of power and ease of driving, thanks to a three-mode independent suspension and full-time four-wheel drive with Active Traction Control. The Adaptive Variable Suspension system has Active Height Control for off-road recreation, and variable gear-ratio steering helps you maneuver at low speeds and respond quickly at high speeds.

Under the hood, the Lexus SUV has a 5.7-liter V8 engine that makes 383 horsepower and 403 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8-speed paddle-shift transmission. This power means the LX 570 can tow up to 7,000 pounds, while Trailer Sway Control ensures you get to your destination without a hitch.

    Comfort and Convenience

Each model of the 2018 Lexus LX is equipped with a power moonroof, heated front seats, leather-trimmed interior, power-adjustable steering column, power-folding 50/50 third-row seats, power rear door, four-zone automatic climate control with air filter and smog sensor, auto-dimming mirrors, and a roof rack with rails. The ute features 14-way power driver’s seat with dual-function lumbar and cushion extender and a 12-way power passenger’s seat with lumbar support. The Lexus Memory System lets you perfect and remember your seat, mirror, and steering column positions.

Standard equipment also includes a nine-speaker Premium Sound System, Bluetooth tech, a Navigation System with 12.3-inch display, HomeLink universal transceiver, and Lexus Enform Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote App, and Destination Assist.

When you add the Luxury Package, you’ll enjoy semi-aniline leather-trimmed interior, heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats, and four-zone Climate Concierge. Individual options include a Rear Seat Entertainment System (with 11.6-inch display, HDMI input, and wireless headphones), color Heads-Up Display, Mark Levinson 19-speaker Surround Sound Audio, Qi-compatible wireless device charger, cool box, and heated wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel.

    Safety and Tech

Not to be outdone by rivals, the 2018 LX 570 has class-leading safety technology. It comes standard equipped with the Lexus Safety System+, which includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, and intelligent high beams. All models also have a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Intuitive Parking Assist, Panoramic View and Multi-Terrain Monitors, ten airbags, and Premium Triple-Beam LED headlamps.
